Driveclub Getting New Control Option in February

Driveclub Getting New Control Option in February

Driveclub on PlayStation 4 has been doing damage control since launch and, through free DLC and constant developer support, it’s become one of the best racers available on the console. Last December, they announced new tracks that would take drivers to urban environments. Today, game director Paul Rustchynsky announced via Twitter that the game would also be getting an all new mode come February.

The mode is called “Hardcore Handling” and it can be accessed through the game’s option menu, where it can be toggled on and off. It takes away a lot of the driving assist features, like traction and stability control. It will only be available for the cars, and not the game’s selection of motorcycles.

It was also revealed that the option is available for both controller and steering wheel players. It’s nice to see the option made available and I can’t wait to see how “Hardcore Handling” affects the overall feeling of the game.
