Quantum Break Takes 44GB of Space

Quantum Break Takes 44GB of Space

In an age where many people have Xbox Ones with 500GB hard drives, digital copy file sizes matter. Especially since 500GB really only means about 360GB of free space. It turns out Quantum Break will end up being one of the system’s larger games. A temporarily available listing on Xbox.com showed it as being 44.09GB if you download it.

While that 44GB size does sound daunting, Quantum Break isn’t too bad. There are far larger Xbox One games to worry about. The Halo: The Master Chief Collection still holds the top spot at 62.74GB, and that’s before patches. The Elder Scrolls Online is 55.69GB to start, and Grand Theft Auto V is 49.03GB, so it could be worse.

Quantum Break will come to the Xbox One and Windows PC on April 5. No word yet on the PC version’s file size. It’ll probably be similar. Also, don’t forget that the digital version of the Xbox One version of the game includes a copy of the PC version.
