EVE Online Launches Project Discovery in the Name of Science

EVE Online Launches Project Discovery in the Name of Science

EVE Online has a new minigame! And it’s educational! Though, it’s mainly educational for Reykjavik University and Massively Multiplayer Online Science. Project Discovery has launched. It tasks people with visiting the Sisters of EVE and doing some identification of protein patterns in human cells. It’s all designed to help build the Human Protein Atlas database .

So why would you want to take part in Project Discovery? Well, you get EVE Online rewards for it. Your Discovery Rank increases, you earn Analysis Kredits, and you also get XP and ISK (money). Plus, you’re helping to make a difference.

Project Discovery is immediately available in EVE Online . If you want a more in-world explanation, here’s a The Scope episode that announces it.
