It’s time to enjoy some DOOM . Well, not exactly now, but soon! The closed beta may have passed, but the DOOM open beta has been set for April 15-17. All you need is a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC to visit the Infernal and Heatwave maps in the Team Deathmatch or Warpath modes.
In addition to the DOOM open beta information, Bethesda brought up a season pass and DLC. Naturally, the game will get paid extras, in addition to the free ones in the form of new modes and user-created SnapMaps. There will be three multiplayer add-on packs, which will be $14.99 each or $39.99 together with the season pass. The first DLC doesn’t have a name yet, but will be out this summer and add three maps, one weapon, one demon, one armor set, one piece of equipment, new customization colors and patterns, new taunts, and new hack modules.
Maybe wait until you’ve tried the DOOM open beta, or maybe even played the full game on May 13, before you go spending $40 on more content, though!
