World of Warcraft: Legion Can Cost $50, $70, or $90

World of Warcraft: Legion , the MMORPG’s latest expansion, has a launch date! It’ll be out on August 30. But, that also means an opportunity to try and get as much money out of fans still playing as possible. In addition to the anticipated debut, Activision Blizzard is going to offer three versions of the game priced at $50-90.

The standard digital or physical edition of World of Warcraft: Legion is $49.99 and only gives you the expansion. If you upgrade to the $69.99 Digital Deluxe edition, you get a World of Warcraft Illidari Felstalker mount and pet, a Heroes of the Storm Felstalker mount, fel-infused Starcraft II portraits, and Diablo III helm transmog and wings. This version is best for people who enjoy many Blizzard games. Both of these games offer a pre-order promotion through the official website that instantly takes one of your characters up to level 100 and gives early access to the Demon Hunter.

Finally, there’s a $89.99 physical copy of the World of Warcraft: Legion Collector’s Edition. It gives you the expansion, a two-disc Blu-ray/DVD set that goes into the behind-the-scenes making-of the add-on, the soundtrack, a hardcover art book, and a mouse pad.

Basically, the World of Warcraft: Legion standard edition is best for all players. If you’ve been playing for years and truly love the game, go for the Collector’s Edition. Should you happen to also be playing Heroes of the Storm and Diablo III , then think about the Digital Deluxe option.
