The Division State of the Game Stream Discusses Fixes

Ubisoft has regular State of the Game live streams for The Division. It’s a way for people to connect and keep up. This last one was especially important, because it offered an update on fixes for two major issues. In a few days, the Falcon Lost exploit will be fixed and compensation for people affected by the backpack and disappearing character glitches will be doled out.

First, let’s talk about Falcon Lost. An exploit in The Division would allow people to defeat the level 34 APC boss with a minimum amount of fuss. The update confirmed that this will be gone in a few days. No more information was offered on what kind of punishment people could face for using this backdoor to win, aside from Natchai Stappers, a community manager, confirming that Ubisoft is exploring the possibility of doing something to reprimand people who went against the game’s Code of Conduct.

Even more important, people who suffered because of Ubisoft’s mistakes are getting something to make up for their troubles. Anyone who was locked out of the game because of a high-end backpack before update 1.1 or saw their character disappeared after 1.1 will get Phoenix Credits and material. To be exact, everyone who suffered gets 500 PC, as well as 10 Division tech, 10 electronics, 10 pieces of fabric, 10 tools, and 10 weapon parts. An exact delivery date wasn’t specified, but community manager Yannick Banchereau says it could arrive this week.

Expect things to be a bit smoother in The Division soon!
