Cheap Japanese Games Star in Sony’s Golden Week Sale

Cheap Japanese Games Star in Sony’s Golden Week Sale

From the last week of April to the first week of May, Japan always celebrates Golden Week. It’s a series of holidays one after another, where people get to take off of school. To celebrate, Sony’s holding a Golden Week sale on the North American PlayStation Store. PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation Portable games are all temporarily reduced until May 2.

Now, there are a lot of games and movies on sale at the PlayStation Store . 71 games and 65 movies, to be exact. Everything is up to 50% off for standard users, while PlayStation Plus members get up to 75% off. You also get 3x Sony rewards points on every purchase. To give you an idea of what you should get, here are some sale games I recommend.

  • Amnesia: Memories (PS Vita) – $17.99, $14.99 for PlayStation Plus
  • Catherine (PS3) – $6.79, $4.99 for PlayStation Plus
  • Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (PS4) – $41.99, $35.99 for PlayStation Plus
  • Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (PS Vita) – $27.99, $23.99 for PlayStation Plus
  • Hatoful Boyfriend (PS4/PS Vita) – $4.99, $2.49 for PlayStation Plus
  • Mega Man Legends (PS3, PSP, PS Vita) – $6.99, $5.99 for PlayStation Plus
  • Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (PSP) – $4.99, $3.99 for PlayStation Plus

I’ve played all of these games and wholeheartedly recommend them. They’re fantastic, and you can’t beat those prices!
