There’s going to be a NHL 17! Which makes sense, because there was an NHL 16, 15, 14, 13, and I think you get the idea. That means it’s time to vote for the player people want to see on the cover. Eight players are competing, and people can visit the official website or vote on Twitter with the #NHL17CoverVote every Thursday to try and get their favorite on the front of the game. Or least favorite, if you’re worried about a cover curse.
Here’s who’s facing off against who in the first round of the NHL 17 cover contest.
- The Blues’ Vladmir Tarasenko vs. the Lightning’s Victor Hedman
- The Flyers’ Jakub Voracek vs. the Oilers’ Connor McDavid
- The King’s Anze Kopitar vs. the Sharks’ Joe Pavelski
- The Panthers’ Aleksander Barkov vs. the Stars’ Jamie Benn
The winner will be revealed on June 22 at the NHL Awards.
