Xenoblade Chronicles Comes to Wii U Virtual Console

Xenoblade Chronicles Comes to Wii U Virtual Console

If you didn’t pick up Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Wii U, it’s likely for one of two reasons: you either played Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii and loved it so much that you understand that your free time and social life would go down the drain if you started playing this latest entry, or you never played Xenoblade Chronicles and you just don’t know what you’re missing out on. If, like me, you’re part of the latter group, you’ll have noticed that finding an affordable way to play through Xenoblade Chronicles is tough. The physical Wii version is still selling for $60 at its most affordable, and the New 3DS version just doesn’t seem like the ideal place to start, compressed as it is.

Thankfully Nintendo has your back, and now Xenoblade Chronicles is available on the Wii U eShop as a virtual console title. This is by far the fastest and most convenient way to experience what turned out to be an instant classic in the East and in the West. It’s also the most affordable way to play the game with an asking price of $20. Be warned: I’ve heard that this game takes a very long time to complete and can be highly addictive. Download and play at your own risk.
