Did you get Dead Star when it was added to PlayStation Plus this month? If you didn’t, you should – both this weekend and the next. Two new pilot portraits are being added to the twin-stick strategic shooter. When you head into 10v10 battles, you may come across Ratchet or Clank.
In honor of Ratchet and Clank’ s new game and movie, both character’s portraits can be unlocked in the game. To get Ratchet, you need to play Dead Star between April 29 and May 2. Clank comes along when you log in to play between May 6 and 9.
The downside is, the Ratchet and Clank character portraits are just that – portraits. They don’t change the way Dead Star is played at all. But, on the plus side, there will be special in-game events both weekends. Those will be announced on Twitter .
I think Ratchet would be my go-to pilot in Dead Star. Which one would you prefer?
