Infinite Warfare Coming November 4, Will Include Zombies

Just in case the now-infamous poop emoji wasn’t confirmation enough for you, Activision and Infinity Ward have officially revealed that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will indeed be bundled with Modern Warfare Remastered for $80, and both games will be available on November 4. Infinite Warfare will revolve around themes of leadership, scarcity, and survival. You’ll do battle against the evil Settlement Defense Front, which is attempting to take control of various resource outposts on which the people of Earth depend for their survival. These outposts are scattered throughout the solar system, thus allowing Infinity Ward to take players to places never before seen in a Call of Duty game.

It was also revealed during a special Call of Duty Twitch stream that for the first time ever, Infinity Ward will develop a zombie mode to be included with the regular campaign. This zombie mode takes place in its own universe, totally separate from Black Ops 3 zombies and from the Infinite Warfare campaign. As for the Modern Warfare remaster, it’s being developed by Raven, with Infinity Ward overseeing production. The game will get a complete visual / audio overhaul and, as we mentioned, will come with the original campaign in its entirety as well as 10 multiplayer maps. The stream concluded with hints that big surprises were in store for E3, so we’ll have so much more to share with you all next month; stay tuned.
