Target Pre-Order Suggests Infinite Warfare Beta

Target Pre-Order Suggests Infinite Warfare Beta

If you’ve been reading my articles about Infinite Warfare lately you can probably tell I’m a huge fan of Infinity Ward. I think it does Call of Duty best, and I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around all of the early hate for Infinite Warfare . At any rate, I myself am plenty excited to get my hands on it, and even more excited to get my hands on Modern Warfare Remastered . While both campaigns will no doubt knock my socks off (again, in the case of MW Remastered), what I’m most excited to dive into is the competitive multiplayer. That’s what Call of Duty is all about for me.

Now Call of Duty games don’t typically have beta periods. In fact, Black Ops 3 is the only game in the franchise so far to hold any kind of beta. Atypical though it may be, we have a pretty good reason to believe that an Infinite Warfare beta is on the way. If you pre-order the game from Target, you’ll notice a scratch-off section on the back of your pre-order card where game codes typically go. On the surface it says “scratch to reveal beta code.” Pre-ordering from Gamestop also reveals a special code on your receipt which you can redeem “for a future offer.” Things look pretty promising but, as always, we’re still awaiting an official confirmation from Activision or Infinity Ward.
