Two “New” Maps Revealed for Modern Warfare Remastered

Two “New” Maps Revealed for Modern Warfare Remastered

Infinity Ward is sloppily revealing tidbits of information about its upcoming game Infinity Warfare through various interviews. We’ve heard a few new details from Jacob Minkoff and Taylor Kurosaki through post-reveal interviews that they have been a part of, and Forbes recently scored an interview with executive vice president of the CoD franchise Rob Kostich. During that interview Kostich affirms that Modern Warfare is being brought fully into the next generation with fully revamped visuals, not just updated textures.

Kostich also revealed two of the multiplayer maps that we hadn’t heard mentioned until now: Overgrown and Bog. For those of you keeping score, we’ve now confirmed five out of the ten multiplayer maps to be included with the remaster. Crash, Overgrown, Crossfire, Backlot, and Bog will all be there, with future maps to be revealed at a later date. By the way, if you haven’t heard already, you should know that you won’t be able to purchase Modern Warfare Remastered on its own. If you want to relive the glory days of Modern Warfare you’ll have to, at the very least, purchase the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare , which includes the remaster for $80.
