Xbox One Is Backwards Compatible with 10 More Games

The Xbox One is now backwards compatible with over 150 Xbox 360 games! Sounds like this is cause for celebration. It’s all due to a very active week on Microsoft’s part. There were 10 games added to the collection over the course of this week. Pretty great, right?

The good news started with Jet Set Radio, MX vs. ATV Reflex , and Texas Hold ‘Em . Granted, Jet Set Radio was the big winner there, but there were audiences for all three games. Then, May the Fourth brought with it Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II . What else would you expect from Star Wars Day?

Now, we’ve come to the last five games for the week. They’re all retro titles that were ported to the Xbox 360 for people who didn’t have the original consoles. This means the Xbox 360 versions of Dig Dug, Phantasy Star II, Runner 2, Samurai Shodown II , and Sonic & Knuckles. While Phantasy Star II isn’t the best in the series, go play that if you love JRPGs.

The whole Xbox One backwards compatibility thing is really working out well for people. At this rate, we could hit 250 titles by the end of the year!
