CoD Black Ops 3 Eclipse DLC Out for PC, Xbox One

CoD Black Ops 3 Eclipse DLC Out for PC, Xbox One

If you’re playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PS4, then this will be old new to you because Activision has a timed-exclusivity deal with Sony for Call of Duty DLC. Now, 30 days later, Eclipse is finally available for Xbox One and PC players. Eclipse is the second expansion for Black Ops 3 , and features 4 new multiplayer maps: Spire, Rift, and Knockout, which are all brand new; and Bonzai, which the Treyarch faithful will recognize from World at War . Eclipse also adds a new chapter in Zombies mode called “Zetsubou No Shima.” This is a continuation of the original storyline.

The Eclipse expansion sells on its own for $15, but if you already purchased the season pass then you’re obviously good to go. The content weighs in at about 8 gigs, so storage shouldn’t be an issue. Activision and Treyarch are promising two more DLC map packs by the end of 2016, so hopefully we’ll have enough new content to keep us occupied until the release of Infinite Warfare on November 4.
