Uncharted 4 Sells 2.7 Million Copies in First Week

Uncharted 4 Sells 2.7 Million Copies in First Week

The adventures of Nathan Drake have come to an end, and that’s a bummer. He was sure to leave behind a small fortune, at least, which is going to make Sony and Naughty Dog happy for a very long time. Sales for Uncharted 4 were phenomenal during its opening week: the game sold a staggering 2.7 million copies worldwide. That number includes digital copies of the game as well as physical retail copies. This makes Uncharted 4 the fastest selling first-party game in PS4 history.

To be completely honest, I was expecting first-week sales to be a bit higher. I know that sounds absurd, and upward of 3 million copies is nothing to sneeze at, but considering that there are nearly 40 million PS4s out there I figured more of you guys would rush out and buy this game right after launch. Sales are sure to keep climbing, though. According to Eurogamer , Uncharted 4 topped UK charts again this morning, and we still have summer and the holiday seasons ahead of us.
