Man, Ubisoft sure has a problem with The Division updates. Back in April, a server issue made some people’s characters temporarily disappear until a patch popped up. With the release of update 1.2, the problem has returned. I hope you didn’t feel like playing this week!
Here’s what happened. People updated The Division to version 1.2. Which they had to do, to keep playing. The problem is, they found their characters gone after the update. Ubisoft is aware of the issue, and the company’s advice is to post your username in the official forum so the company can try to fix what went wrong.
This is incredibly disappointing. It was bad enough that The Division characters disappeared on people once, but twice? Especially with a holiday weekend coming up. Let’s cross our fingers and hope the problem’s fixed by Memorial Day.
