Square Enix and IO have revealed the third episode for Hitman , titled Marrakesh. This time around, Agent 47 will be headed to Morocco to the busy city of Marrakesh. IO’s community manager Travis Barbour promises a lively, tense environment “teeming with life and with things to do.” “Marrakesh has been built with a maze of alleys, a range of souks that line the medina walls, and a fully fletched shisha cafe,” he says. “Moving upwards, players can enjoy the shade on the signature rooftop terraces of Marrakesh.”
But you’re not there to recline in the shade and drink Bahama Mamas. You’re there to take out high-profile targets, and this time around you’ll have two targets to eliminate as part of the main mission, “A Gilded Cage.” Your persons of interest are Claus Strandberg, a private investment banker, and Army General Reza Zaydan. With both of them out of the way, you’ll have plenty of extra challenges and escalation contracts to keep you busy until the next episode. Marrakesh will be available to download on May 31.
