Zelda Wii U Playable Next Month at NY Nintendo Store

Zelda Wii U Playable Next Month at NY Nintendo Store

Nintendo of America has announced that the same Legend of Zelda Wii U demo that’s getting shown off this year at E3 will be playable at the Nintendo NY store. You’ll have to get up really early to get the chance to play, though. The public is invited to line up for “Super-Fan Signup Day” Saturday, June 11. The first 500 eligible super-fans in line when the store opens at 9 AM EST will receive a wristband that can later be exchanged for a ticket that grants access to the demo during a certain time between Tuesday June 14 and Sunday June 19.

It’s quite the process, which is why the 500 people who make it through will be super-fans indeed. The Nintendo store has a huge screen which will be streaming live coverage of Nintendo’s E3 booth during the expo. Guides from Nintendo will give players advice on the big screen on how to play, with demonstrations and live trivia to keep everyone engaged. If you live in New York, you could be one of the first people in the world to play the new Legend of Zelda on Wii U. I just hope you like standing in line.
