Could Sega Be Considering Sonic Crossovers?

Could Sega Be Considering Sonic Crossovers?

Companies often ask for feedback on games. It helps them decide what to do next. For instance, people who play Valkyria Chronicles Remastered can take a survey to show how much they’d like more games in the series. Select Sega fans recently received a Sonic the Hedgehog survey. Why is this notable? Because a lot of attention was paid to crossovers.

Sega covers all the bases. It begins with asking if people want to see Sonic with other Sega stars, then goes on to ask about other famous characters that aren’t owned by the company. To be exact, it asks if you’d want to see Sonic the Hedgehog in a game with Adventure Time , Capcom, Dragon Ball Z , Looney Toons , My Little Pony , Nintendo, and Pixar. More specifically, it mentions Bomberman, Bugs Bunny, Crash Bandicoot, Kirby, Link, Mario, Mega-Man, Pikachu, Ratchet & Clank, and Ryu.

There’s no explanation why this is all coming up. I wonder if another Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed games could be in the works, and Sega’s wondering about other characters who could make cameos? This year is the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog , so maybe we’ll get answers in July when that milestone is hit.
