Street Fighter V is seriously lacking in ninjas. Fortunately, Ibuki’s going to rectify that issue. She’s making her debut as the game’s third DLC character in June. It’s pretty good news. To help people prepare, Capcom released a new trailer and some details about how she plays.
Let’s start by seeing how Ibuki looks in Street Fighter V .
Ibuki is a technical character. You need to be really skilled to use her effectively! She has special tools, like bombs, and can stock five kunai at a time to throw at enemies. Her energy is its own special weapon too, as she can charge up a V-Skill Tenrai attack to blast ki at opponents. Her Isshaku Horokudama V-Trigger sends out bombs, with players able to determine when they’ll go off. Finally, her Kachofugetsu Critical Art has her using ninja seals to send blasts at an opponent.
Between Ibuki’s debut and the cinematic story mode launch, June’s looking like the best month for Street Fighter V . If you don’t already own it, it seems like a great time to buy a copy!
