That Spider-Man PlayStation 4 trailer Sony showed off during its press conference was pretty impressive, right? Bet you wondered if that was a prepared event video or running on that PlayStation Neo. Well, Insomniac is here to say it was actual PS4 footage.
Insomniac confirmed the news on Twitter . Spider-Man was running on a standard PS4. All the footage was real-time and taken in-game. Impressive, right? Kind of makes you want to watch that video again, doesn’t it?
This comes after Marvel confirmed that Insomniac and Sony are going to be connected to Spider-Man going forward. Jay Ong, head of Marvel Games, told GameIndustry.biz , “But the future of the Spider-Man console games is with Sony and Insomniac. We’re delighted about this partnership, and that’s something that’s going to continue forward.” Guess this could be the first of many (hopefully visually stunning and entertaining) things!
