Don’t worry about that Fable Fortune Kickstarter, the one that was going to give us a collectible card game inspired by the RPG series. It turns out it doesn’t need our money anymore. Flaming Foul Studios has found another source of revenue for the cooperative and competitive game, which means the crowdfunding campaign is over!
Instead, we are now being invited to sign up for a Fable Fortune closed beta. You can visit the official website to sign up for a chance to play the game ahead of launch and make your voice heard. Once the closed beta happens, people will be able to play on Steam.
Between this and Gwent , it certainly seems like 2016 could be the year of the CCG and TCG. While I’m more excited about CD Projekt RED’s game, maybe Fable Fortune will have its place, too? I’m sure we’ll see how it goes in the next few months.
