Something big is coming to Uncharted 4 this week, and it’s very exciting. The PlayStation 4 game is getting its first multiplayer add-on on June 29. This free expansion is the first of four post-launch additions, bringing with it Cinema Replay, boosters, a game mode, maps, a Mystical, over 50 skins, taunts, over 100 vanity items, and an undisclosed number of new weapons. People will even be able to arrange custom matches, put together custom loadout names, and enjoy an adjusted team deathmatch mode.
We’ll all get a first look at it ahead of launch. On June 28, Naughty Dog will appear on Twitch to go through the Uncharted 4 multiplayer update. The developer will look at the patch 1.08 updates and preview some of the new content. It’ll show up at 11:30am PT/1:30pm CT/2:30pm ET, then be followed by a post-launch Twitch discussion on June 30, also at 11:30am PT/1:30pm CT/2:30pm ET.
There’ll be three more multiplayer expansions to enjoy after this one. Another expansion will be released in August, bringing with it cooperative multiplayer, maps, another Mystical, skins, vanity items, weapons, and boosters. It’ll be followed by a Winter 2016 update with more boosters, skins, weapons, and vanity items. All this is followed by a final Spring 2017 update with, you guessed it, even more boosters, skins, vanity items, and weapons. It’s great how much Uncharted 4 multiplayer content we have to look forward to!
