There’s a Teen Wolf in Grand Theft Auto V

There’s a Teen Wolf in Grand Theft Auto V

One of Grand Theft Auto V’ s best kept secrets isn’t one anymore. Reddit users on r/ChiliadMystery have figured out the mystery behind the game’s golden peyote plants, secret code, and sasquatch. The answer is one you absolutely wouldn’t expect. Or maybe you would, I don’t know. Basically, it’s a means of getting a Teen Wolf -inspired werewolf to use in Director Mode.

Louis C. LeBlond and a number of other Grand Theft Auto V Reddit fans, like Avaster Mc’alister, Caffine1, CopyrightedName, DenturedOcelot, DragonTear, DreamingDjinn, K-i-ll, Malakai, Max, Mozmachine, Patdog56, Phenom, Pir-o, Pouaichh, SeeThroughMyEyes, StipularPenguin, TheGlitcher1705, The_Stoned_Ape, TMBSTruth, Trainer Red, Vert4r, Vertigo/WalkerOnline, and Xaymer, managed to uncover the secret. Rockstar kept leaving clues in Grand Theft Auto V ’s code, adding more each update. It began with, “He was wrong to start his hunt on Tuesday.” That was the first message left in the game’s files, after people found golden peyote on a foggy or snowy Tuesday in-game at a specific place. It eventually led to the discovery of seven golden peyote plants, each one in a different place, that had to be eaten in order between 5:30 and 8am on foggy or snowy in-game days. With cheating, of course.

People who accomplished this discovered a minigame unlocked in Grand Theft Auto V after eating all seven golden peyote plants. As sasquatch, players have an opportunity to hunt down a Teen Wolf, following him around a map with the legendary creature’s skills. Successfully tailing and defeating the Teen Wolf adds him as a possible character in Director Mode. You select sasquatch and press L3 and R3 to switch to the Teen Wolf.

Keep in mind, Grand Theft Auto V was released on PCs in April 2015. It took over a year for people to figure this out and use workarounds to find the Teen Wolf. Truly, this is the game that keeps on giving.
