It’s the summer of XCOM , and fans of the series have so much to look forward to whether they’re playing on PC or on consoles. Console players can look forward to rising up against Earth’s malicious alien leaders when XCOM 2 comes to Xbox One and PS4 on September 6. PC players have had the opportunity to rebel against their alien overlords since February, but there’s still plenty to do. Later this summer Firaxis will be releasing its next DLC: Shen’s Last Gift. Shen’s Last Gift introduces a new soldier class with its own upgradeable weapons, armor, and customization features. You’ll also get a brand new story mission and map that may shed a little more light on the life and work of one of our most beloved characters.
Shen’s Last Gift is the third DLC pack Firaxis has developed for XCOM 2 , following Anarchy’s Children and Alien Hunters . The first two DLC packs are currently available, either separately or as a bundle when you purchase the XCOM 2 Reinforcement Pack. The Reinforcement Pack will grant you all three DLC packs, including Shen’s Last Gift when it’s released later this summer.
