Who’s gonna wreck it? And by wreck it, I hopefully mean box office records and all preconceptions of how good a sequel can be? Ralph is! Disney’s formally and officially announced a sequel to Wreck It Ralph , which will be released on March 9, 2018. It might not actually be called Wreck It Ralph 2 , but the first bit of art released shows Ralph and Vanellope towering above the Earth and companies like Lubhub, Amazing, Gügle, and Pictopedia. Huh, some of those sound familiar.
We also know some of the people who’ll be involved with Wreck It Ralph 2 . John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman will return as Ralph and Vanellope. Clark Spencer, from Bolt and Zootopia , is the producer, Rich Moore is returning as its director, and Phil Johnston, who wrote Zootopia, will be the co-director.
Wreck It Ralph was amazing, so here’s hoping Wreck It Ralph 2 is equally good. After all, the first ended up being the start of a good run of Disney animated movies, with Frozen, Big Hero Six, Inside Out, and Zootopia following it!
