What are you thankful for? If you play Pokemon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire, or Omega Ruby , it might be a new legendary. Now that July’s begun, Nintendo and Game Freak have a new Pokemon to give out. This time it’s Shaymin, which is known as the Gratitude Pokémon.
To get Shaymin, grab your copy of Pokemon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire , or Omega Ruby . Choose the Mystery Gift option from the start menu and choose to receive a gift from the internet. A level 100 Shaymin, in its Land Forme, will arrive and become your new best friend. It’ll know Aromatherapy, Energy Ball, Seed Flare, and Substitute.
Of course, once you get a Shaymin, you’ll need to get a Gracidea flower that will allow it to shift to its Sky Forme. In Pokemon X and Y, you can get it from a female NPC in Snowbelle City’s Pokemon Center when you show her Shaymin. In Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby , have Shaymin in your party when you visit the Berry Master’s kid on Route 123.
Shaymin is only being doled out until July 24, so grab it fast! This grass-type hedgehog will go quickly!
