Something we’ve all been waiting for is about to happen. Three words, folks: Red Dead Redemption . But it’s not that new game announcement we’ve been dying for. No, it’s an opportunity to enjoy the original game on a new platform. It’s being added to the Xbox One backwards compatible game library!
On July 8, Red Dead Redemption will begin working on Xbox Ones. This means every version of the game will work. Rockstar specifically mentions the original Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare , and Red Dead Redemption’ s Game of the Year Edition. Digital and physical copies apply.
This is very good news! Perhaps it’s even indicative of things to come. Maybe all those rumors about a new Red Dead will come true this year? After all, Red Dead Revolver was out in 2004, and Red Dead Redemption showed up in 2010. It’s been six years. We’re due!
