World of Final Fantasy Gets a Fantastic Collector’s Edition

World of Final Fantasy Gets a Fantastic Collector’s Edition

World of Final Fantasy keeps surprising me. I’ve caught myself wondering if I’m more excited to play WoFF than I am to play Final Fantasy XV . The art direction and music are pure gold; a true return to form for Square Enix, if I do say so myself. Today the company revealed the irresistible collector’s edition for WoFF , and before we talk about how freaking cute it is, let’s go ahead and list all of its contents.

Everything is presented within a gorgeous, physical pop-up book which contains vibrant, 3D, paper cutouts. As the book is opened, you’ll find all of your physical content, including:

  • Physical game disc

  • A special 80-page hardback artbook showing off the fresh toy-like visuals

  • The original soundtrack of the game’s enchanting score

  • A set of three mini-figurines including the legendary Cloud, Lightning and Squall

  • Extra digital content, including White Chocobo, Glow Moogle and Red Bonnetberry mirages, a Sephiroth summon and a Japanese voice-over option add-on

Now then, just look at how freaking cute that pop-up book and those figurines are. I never thought I’d care for figurines of any kind – I’ve yet to purchase a single amiibo – but I want those suckers. This is one of the best CEs I’ve ever seen, though it is a bummer that it can only be pre-ordered through the Square Enix Online Store (no Amazone Prime discount for me). The entire package can be yours for $120 USD when World of Final Fantasy launches on October 25. Limited Editions and Day-One editions will also be available for PS4 and PS Vita for $60 and $40, respectively. If you haven’t already, check out the new “Welcome to Grymoire!” trailer below:
