Metroid Prime: Blast Ball Multiplayer Demo Is Live

Metroid Prime: Blast Ball Multiplayer Demo Is Live

I know, I know: Metroid Prime: Federation Force looks awful and is killing the series. Go cry somewhere else. Federation Force may not be a true Metroid Prime game, but it does look great as a multiplayer shooter. Nintendo believes in it and really wants you to give it a go. To that end, they’ve released a multiplayer demo for Blast Ball , the part of the Federation Force that confused and pissed off Metroid fans the most.

Blast Ball is a mini game where you use your blaster to shoot a ball into your opponents’ goal. The demo features 3v3 match-ups via local play, download play, and online. Players will be able to play matches and earn rewards, and there are multiple control schemes to choose from. Reception so far has been quite positive, with some people even comparing this to a slower-paced Rocket League . I mean come on, guys: how bad could Rocket League with guns possibly be? Give it a shot this weekend and see for yourself. Metroid Prime Federation Force will be available August 19.
