Do you know who was at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con? Niantic, known for Pokemon Go . The game had a panel and, while we didn’t find out when the legendary Pokemon will start roaming the real world, some other icons were revealed. We now know what the three Pokemon Go team leaders look like.
When you play Pokemon Go , you get to choose which team to ally with after reaching level five and finding a gym. There’s the red team, Valor, blue team, Mystic, and yellow team, Instinct. Originally, these three characters appeared as silhouettes. Now, we have faces to put to the names. Candela, an African American woman, leads Valor. Blanche, another woman of color, leads Mystic. Finally, Spark is the white man who leads Instinct.
Other Pokemon Go information trickled out during the panel. Apparently, the Eevee Easter egg is only one of a few Niantic has stuck in the game. New Pokemon are coming after the worldwide rollout is complete. Training and trading will arrive after the company stops the game from crashing. PokeStops will eventually become Pokemon Centers. Sounds like Pokemon Go has a bright future ahead of it!
