Oh no! Splatoon’ s Splatfests are over! How will we ever get more Super Sea Snails so we can reroll our equipment’s abilities or add new slots? Well, by playing standard Splatoon matches. Nintendo has switched up the way the game works and found a new way to give us the items needed to customize our attire.
Here’s how it works. After winning either 30 Ranked or Turf War battles in Splatoon , Judd will give you a Super Sea Snail, which you can give to Spike to get your customization on. You also get 1,000 points for each win now, instead of only 300, so you’ll have an easier time getting nice things.
This was a great way to address a potential problem. Without that Splatfest support, it’d be impossible for Splatoon players to enjoy a part of the game. By switching objectives, it’s easier to earn those precious Super Sea Snails. Sure, it might be a higher plateau to reach than the Splatfest one, but now we can get them any time. It really balances out.
