Pokemon Go Exploit Gives You a Wider View

Pokemon Go Exploit Gives You a Wider View

There’s a new Pokemon Go exploit! Unfortunately, it isn’t going to help you get where you’re going faster, which is of course down the path to being the highest level trainer with the strongest Pokemon and fullest Pokedex. No, this trick just changes your perspective. You can start seeing things horizontally, instead of vertically.

Yes, this Pokemon Go exploit allows you to play in landscape mode. It’s really easy and I have checked to see that it works. Here’s how it works. You hold your phone horizontally and open the app. Keep it in this position. When you get into the game, go to settings and choose “Report High-Priority Issue.” After the game takes you out of the app to go to the webpage, immediately press the button to get out of that and bring Pokemon Go back up. The game should now appear in landscape mode.

If you need a more detailed step-by-step, here’s IGN’s video showing how to pull off this Pokemon Go exploit.

While this is a neat Pokemon Go exploit, it’s not without its drawbacks. The game is not meant to be played this way, which means many menus aren’t going to look right. Also, you’re not going to have a good time when trying to capture Pokemon. It could end up being very nearly impossible. But hey, at least you get a prettier view of that virtual version of our world!
