Life Is Strange Is Getting a Digital Show

Life Is Strange Is Getting a Digital Show

Here’s something somewhat unexpected. Life is Strange , that odd little adventure game from Dontnod and Square Enix, is going to get its own live action show. Which is a little unusual, since it isn’t the biggest game, but I suppose makes sense given its nature and content? It will follow Max’s adventure as she deals with the ability to travel through time and attempt to save both her friend Chloe and Arcadia Bay.

A cast hasn’t been announced yet. However, DJ2 Entertainment and Legendary Digital Studios are working with Square Enix to make it. DJ2 Entertainment did the Skulls of the Shogun cartoon and is working on the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Meanwhile, Legendary Digital Studios has been working on the Dead Rising movies you can watch on Crackle. The Life is Strange series will also be a digital release, so maybe it’ll end up somewhere like Crackle too?

To be honest? If any game could be turned into a very plausible show, it’s Life is Strange . It already is an adventure that feels like something you’d see on the CW. So sure, go ahead. Make it a TV show. It could work.
