Wizard World’s Auctioning Off a Back to the Future Game for Charity

Wizard World’s Auctioning Off a Back to the Future Game for Charity

Sometimes, Wizard World likes to give back. The convention producer has announced a Back to the Future -related charity event that will give people a chance to help support The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research while also getting a chance to own a one-of-a-kind VPcab autographed by members of the movie’s cast. It’s a pretty cool opportunity. Expect the bidding to be high, because a standard version of this cabinet goes for $3,995!

The Back to the Future machine has both digital pinball and an arcade inside of it, meaning you’re getting a 2-in-1 machine that has a pinball game and the ability to play MAME titles. VPcabs put it together just for Wizard World Chicago. Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson then signed it. Attendees will be able to see the machine for the first time during the August 18-21 event, with the auction beginning on eBay on August 20. All money raised in the auction goes to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Wizard World Chicago also marks an opportunity for people to meet the two men and woman who’ll be signing this custom cabinet. Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson will all be at the convention this year.
