Minecraft Works With Oculus Rift Now

Virtual reality has taken a huge leap forward. Oculus Rift now supports one of the biggest PC games in the world. If you have Minecraft for Windows 10 and the VR headset, you can start playing the game in VR. This isn’t a mod. It’s official support that arrived with the August 15 update.

Even better, it’s compatible with any control scheme you usually use when enjoying Minecraft . Like using a Xbox One controller? Go ahead and use the Xbox One controller. Prefer a keyboard and mouse? That works too. You can also adjust the settings to make it comfortable for you, regarding either controls or graphics like rendering distance.

The downside is, this doesn’t mean Minecraft’ s Windows 10 version is on par with the other PC versions. It isn’t. This build is still behind, which means there’s no cross-platform play yet. Still, this is a very positive advancement and is another reason to consider grabbing an Oculus Rift.
