The Crew was released back in December 2014. It’s an old game. You’d think that means its developer and publisher would forget about it, but no! It’s still going strong! Ubisoft’s proving us with an entirely new expansion, Calling All Units, which it announced at Gamescom 2016.
Calling All Units is all about police chases. We’ll get to either be the cops or attempt to outrun them. Those who want to race can take along unspecified cargo and try to see if they’re faster than the players who have justice running through their veins. People who decide to be cops will have specific cars, trucks, and motorcycles to use as they attempt to chase down offenders and arrest them. The level and car rank caps will be increased, 12 more missions will be added to the game, and we’ll be able to drive new cars and set them up with extra parts.
Naturally, there’s a Gamescom Calling All Units trailer for The Crew , which lets us see what we’ll be able to do.
The Crew’ s Call All Units expansion will arrive on November 29. That means it’ll come almost two years after the game’s release. Which is quite reassuring. If only all games received so much support!
