There are all sorts of rumors about various PlayStation 4 and Xbox One models floating about. We’d heard talk of a possible slim PlayStation 4, in addition to the PlayStation 4 Neo. Now, there’s photographic and real world proof, as someone in Manchester, England was selling this PS4 Slim on Gumtree .
The PS4 slim is a black system with a 500GB hard drive. It comes with all of the proper cords, a small headset, and a Dualshock 4. It has a matte finish and rounded edges, compared to the PS4 we have now, with buttons in place of touch sensors for turning on the system and ejecting discs. More official specs concerning size are unavailable, but the person who bought it shared images of it alongside a standard PS4 with Push Square .
The 2016 PlayStation Meeting is going to be held on September 7. It was supposed to be the place where the PS4 Neo would be revealed, and now the Wall Street Journal says the PS4 Slim will be in attendance as well. While the Neo will definitely be the most exciting part, it’ll be interesting to hear how Sony hopes to market this different variation of our existing system.
