Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to make the power fantasies of Millennials everywhere a reality. Some of our wildest daydreams borne from afternoons of rushing home from school to catch the latest episode of Dragon Ball Z are about to be realized in the sequel to what is widely hailed as the best Dragon Ball game ever made. Today Bandai Namco released a new trailer to get us hyped. In the new footage we see for the first time Majin Vegeta as a playable character, and learn a little more about Xenoverse 2 ‘s new multiplayer modes.
An accompanying press release states that “endless fights will also be available together with the choice of using zero stat avatars for the ultimate showdown in pure fighting skills.” There will also be an exciting new challenge for you and your friends in “Expert Mission” mode. This is a 6 vs. 1 where you and your strongest buddies can face off against a single, powerful NPC boss. The boss will attempt to split your team up by sending various members to an alternate dimension where they’ll have to overcome some sub-challenges. Single-player enthusiasts can look forward to twice the amount of quests compared to the first Xenoverse , and tons of items, accessories, and costumes to collect.
