Divinity: Original Sin 2 Hits Steam Early Access Soon

Divinity: Original Sin is one of the great success stories of the modern crowdfunding paradigm. The role-playing epic was released to universal praise, and still delights fans on pretty much every major platform. It got its start on the Steam Early Access program, and it appears the sequel will follow in its progenitor’s footsteps. Divinity Original Sin 2 is headed to Steam Early Access on September 15.

You can find the Steam page here , which describes the game as “an entirely new experience built on the next-gen Divinity Engine, with a new UI, an all-new art-style, and advanced roleplay systems.” The freedom to go anywhere, skill anything, and approach quests from any angle you desire is still a key focus here. In Early Access, players will have four origin stories to choose from, four unique classes, and four player co-op. Do note that the final version may differ greatly from what you expereince in Early Access, especially in earlier portions of the game.
