The Witness Comes to the Stand on the Xbox One

The Witness Comes to the Stand on the Xbox One

The Witness, the latest game from Braid creator Jonathan Blow, finally has a Xbox One release date. It turns out the puzzle game will finally appear on the console on September 13. In case you’re keeping track, that’s almost eight months after its January debut on the PlayStation 4 and PC.

In The Witness , players find themselves on an island divided into eleven parts. Your goal is to traverse it, solving all sorts of puzzles and shining a light on the mountain. There are over 650 puzzles total available, though you don’t have to solve all of them to shine the lights toward the mountain and find your way to the center. It’s both challenging and artistic.

That means there’s only one version of The Witness left to release. It’s also coming to iOS devices. It’ll be the same game, with less impressive graphics. It doesn’t have a release date yet, so you’ll have to settle for consoles and computers for now!
