PlayStation Now Bringing PS3 Games to PC

PlayStation Now Bringing PS3 Games to PC

PlayStation Now is expanding its scope. Instead of being a PlayStation 4 exclusive, the streaming service is also coming to computers. People in North America and Europe with Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 PCs can enjoy classic console games without a system. All over 400 games will be available to people willing to pay $19.99 for one month, $44.99 for three months, and $99.99 for a year.

People will also be able to play them properly. In September, Sony will sell a DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor. For $24.99, you can plug it in and use your DualShock 4 with a PC or Mac. This is an optional purchase, as the controller’s cord lets you use it on your computers too. But people who want a more authentic PlayStation Now or Remote Play experience could take the plunge.

This is probably the most practical use of PlayStation Now. I mean, I’m sure most people who have a PS4 and would consider the service already have a PS3 too. I know I do. We’ll have to see how well it works and if it’s worth it after the streaming service launches on PC, as it currently only has a launch date of “soon.”
