While PlayStation Plus may be lackluster, The Xbox Live Games with Gold program continues to shine. The free titles for September 2016 have been announced and there are a few big names joining our libraries next month. I mean, I consider an Assassin’s Creed Chronicles and Mirror’s Edge pretty huge.
The Xbox One games for Games with Gold next month are Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China and Earthlock . The former is an action game in the Assassin’s Creed universe and will be free from September 16 until October 15. The latter, an entirely new game, is an indie RPG with crafting and farming elements, available from September 1-30. Both seem like pretty solid choices.
The Xbox 360 games are also the sort of titles that will make your month. It starts with Forza Horizon , which will be free from September 1-15. Which is smart, since Forza Horizon 3 will come to the Xbox One in September as well. You can use this to prepare. The other freebie is Mirror’s Edge , which you can grab from September 16-30.
Honestly, all four Games with Gold titles are pretty great. I’m most excited about Earthlock , but every single one is something I’d recommend playing.
