No One’s a Monster in Evolve’s The Deepest Dark Mission

No One’s a Monster in Evolve’s The Deepest Dark Mission

Evolve is known for its key gimmick. Players are divided up against themselves. One is a monster, going after hunters. The other four are hunters, trying to take the monster down. The latest expansion, which is now in the beta phase, removes that element. Evolve’ s The Deepest Dark lets everyone be a hunter and team up to face an AI-controlled monster.

The monster, in this case, is a Gorgon Queen. Everyone has to defeat her before her eggs hatch. Other minor monsters and baby Gorgons are roaming around, making a nuisance of themselves. The Gorgon Queen is more aggressive, as she’ll only get energy when she takes down a hunter. As you go through the mission, a narrator goes over what’s happening and alerts you to possible issues.

There’s even an Evolve The Deepest Dark trailer that gives you a head’s up about what to expect.

Since it’s free to try, due to being in beta, checking out Evolve’s The Deepest Dark may not be a bad idea. All you have to do is hop into the game and choose the mission in Co-op vs. AI. You’ll have a chance to bring that Gorgon Queen down.
