Mortal Kombat XL’s PC Beta’s Begun

Mortal Kombat XL’s PC Beta’s Begun

Guess what? You have plans this weekend! The Mortal Kombat XL beta has begun. This is a free, online enhanced beta for the PC version of the game to help Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment make sure the definitive edition is ready.

The Mortal Kombat XL beta is open to everyone. All you have to do is head to Steam, click to play the beta, and then hop right in. It’ll be running until 10am PT on August 29, so you have a whole weekend to hopefully enjoy the game. Or, at the very least, help find any problems so the full version of Mortal Kombat XL will work.

Because really, Mortal Kombat X on PCs needed all the help it could get. High Voltage Software dropped the ball on the port, with plenty of crashes, netcode issues, and other problems. Seeing both the Kombat Pack 2 and best version of the game coming to PCs, as each one was initially exclusive to consoles, is a good sign that this ship could still be turned around.
