Duke Nukem 3D Could be Getting a Remaster

Well isn’t this very mysterious? If you head over to DukeNukem.com , you’ll see a fancy little countdown timer under a banner that reads, “Happy 20th Anniversary.” The countdown concludes next Friday at 8:30PM EST. This website, along with the Duke Nuke Twitter page, was just recently revived. What could it all mean?

Well 20 years ago in 1996, Duke Nukem 3D was released, so word on the street is that a remake is in the works. If Reddit user “Tezla55” is to be believed, we’re getting a game called Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour which will be a sort of remaster and re-imagining of the game. Several supposed leaked screenshots were provided, and Tezla’s source claims that the game will feature co-op and online deathmatch. Apparently this project is being developed by Nerve Software, who has worked on multiple Call of Duty games in the past.

Sound probable, or is our mystery source full of baloney? All will be revealed next Friday, so we don’t have long to wait before we find out!
