This is an absolute good news, bad news situation. Monster Hunter is coming to the PlayStation 4. People in Japan will be getting Monster Hunter Frontier Z on November 22. Unfortunately, that Japan part of the sentence is pretty important. This is an update for Monster Hunter Frontier G , the MMO available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U overseas.
There’s a trailer that shows some glimpses of things to come in Monster Hunter Frontier Z . Basically, it looks like new weapons, armor sets, and of course monsters. Try not to be too jealous of Japan when you watch it.
Capcom has never released any of the Monster Hunter MMOs in North America and Europe. That means we missed out on both Monster Hunter Frontier and Monster Hunter Frontier G . Maybe Monster Hunter Frontier Z will be the one Capcom decides to localize?
