Lego Dimensions is one of those NFC games where you don’t have to keep buying a new version each year. The game itself updates with new expansion packs every season or so instead. And this month, Lego Dimensions is getting a huge update. Wave six will be released on September 27, bringing Ghostbusters, Adventure Time, Mission Impossible, Harry Potter, and The A-Team to the game.
The biggest of the new Lego Dimensions pack is the Ghostbusters Story Pack. It’s $49.99 and offers six levels. The Adventure Time and Mission Impossible Level Packs each give you one level and are $29.99 each. The two new $29.99 Team Packs add Harry Potter and Adventure Time characters, while The A-Team Fun Pack $11.99 adds B. A. Baracus and B. A.’s Van.
It’s really a smart way to handle things. You can consider a Story Pack level a full video game, if you’d like. And, while the other packs may seem expensive now, stores like Toys R Us always have deals where you can get multiple packs at a discount. I’m looking forward to Adventure Time !
