ReCore is a game about robots. Our human heroine, Joule, meets Corebots who’ll help her journey across Far Eden. As you go through the game, Mack, Seth, Duncan, and Violet will join your ranks. Each one lets you reach a new place. Except, you can beat the game and collect all Prismatic Cores, but still not be able to reach every area and have a space for another robot. It turns out that Tank, also known as T8-NK, isn’t in the game yet.
This news comes from Destructoid , who contacted Microsoft when Tank couldn’t be found and quicksand couldn’t be crossed. Microsoft’s official replay was, “The Tank is not currently available in the game. But please stay tuned for news.” No more was said, so it’s uncertain if Tank will be added as a free update or released as DLC.
It’s a shame we didn’t know this about ReCore before or at launch. Especially since it’s very obvious something is missing from the game. Hopefully, this extra buddy will be added in for free alongside a patch that fixes the loading issues and other problems.
